APC Set to Win Anambra State Election as Prince Nicolas Ukachukwu Emerges Strong Contender Against Governor Soludo

As the November governorship election in Anambra State approaches, the political atmosphere is heating up with debates about leadership, vision, and the future direction of the state. At the center of this conversation is Prince Nicolas Ukachukwu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, whose candidacy has drawn strong endorsements and sparked comparisons with the incumbent governor, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo.

Chief Chukwudi Ernest Okafor Awkuzu, a respected politician, businessman, philanthropist, political analyst, and longtime associate of Ukachukwu, has publicly declared his confidence in the APC candidate’s ability to transform Anambra. Speaking in an interview, Okafor described Ukachukwu as “a highly intelligent person” with a proven track record in real estate, a successful businessman who has mentored numerous entrepreneurs, and a visionary developer. He noted that Ukachukwu was among the first private developers to establish modern estates in Abuja.

In today’s real estate market, Prince Nicolas Ukachukwu has built companies with a strong reputation for service and results, widely regarded as among the best in the sector nationwide. Beyond business, Okafor said, Ukachukwu has also profoundly influenced political thought and philosophy, demonstrating that his leadership extends beyond commerce into governance and civic engagement. According to him, the three C’s of Ukachukwu’s leadership are Character, Competence, and Conviction.

Okafor emphasized that Ukachukwu has the vision to bring 21st-century development to Anambra. His stated priorities include securing the state to attract investors, empowering traders, the heartbeat of the nation, building a conducive environment for businesses, creating opportunities for youth empowerment, and driving skills acquisition initiatives. He further observed that the removal of fuel subsidy under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration has increased the financial capacity of state governments, positioning Anambra for greater infrastructural investment under the right leadership.

According to Okafor, four years is enough to effect visible change in the state, but Anambra has not yet witnessed the kind of leadership capable of making a real difference. He therefore urged the people of Anambra to unite en masse behind Prince Nicolas Ukachukwu, whom he described as “the only person destined to drive Anambra State toward genuine progress.”

“I am from Awkuzu, Anambra State, and I want the best for my state, my children, and future generations. Anambra cannot continue to be run under a gerontocracy with nothing to offer. I have known Prince Nicolas Ukachukwu for 20 years and have seen what he has achieved both federally and nationally. He is more than qualified to deliver Anambra State and put it back on the right track. Take my word to the bank Ukachukwu is the right man for the job. Quote me anywhere. He is a cultured man with a sound academic background. If Professor Soludo had truly transformed Anambra State into the promised model of expectation, we would not be here today. Give Prince Nicolas Ukachukwu a chance to build a befitting state, and positive change will come,” Okafor declared.

Highlighting security as the most urgent challenge, Okafor remarked: “Anambra State is badly in need of security, and without it, no investor will be willing to come into the state. Some communities in Anambra have become no-go areas because of insecurity, but I am confident that Prince Nicolas Ukachukwu will provide state-of-the-art security for our people who have suffered terribly without protection.”

“A great leader like Prince Nicolas Ukachukwu inspires and motivates others with a strong vision, clear communication, integrity, and empathy,” Okafor added. “He has the adaptability, resilience, and strategic thinking required to navigate challenges and guide Anambra toward progress and prosperity.”

He further stated that Anambra is lagging in infrastructure and requires a leader with the ability to pull the state out of setbacks. He insisted that Ukachukwu’s wealth of experience, combined with his record in business and development, makes him uniquely qualified to reposition the state.

Ukachukwu himself has called on APC members and leaders to close ranks ahead of the election, urging them to work collectively to deliver victory for the party. “There is nothing better than us winning the seat of governance of Anambra State. Bringing Anambra into the national mainstream will bring immense benefits that will trickle down to the grassroots,” he declared.

The November election is shaping up to be a major political battle between the APC candidate and Governor Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). Soludo, a globally acclaimed economist and professor, came into office with promises of transforming Anambra into a model akin to Dubai. But as his first term progresses, questions linger among citizens about whether those promises have materialized.

Now, the people of Anambra face a choice: to continue with Soludo’s agenda of continuity or to embrace Ukachukwu’s promise of what his supporters describe as “bouncebackability” the capacity to revive and reposition the state.

Ultimately, the decision rests with the electorate. The outcome in November will determine whether Anambra stays its present course or embarks on a new journey under Prince Nicolas Ukachukwu and the APC.
